Our Mission

The Junior League of Eugene, Oregon, is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. We are dedicated to serving our community’s youth, family and the underserved.

Who we Are

The Junior League of Eugene (JLE) is a charitable not-for-profit organization of women who make sustainable improvements in their communities as a result of the civic leadership training and expertise they obtain through their experience in the league. As a member of Junior League you will be joining over 300,000 women in the US, Canada and Mexico who are making a difference in their communities, while growing their personal skill set and making life-long personal connections.

Association of Junior Leagues International Inc (AJLI)

Junior League of Eugene is a member of Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI). Formed in 1921, AJLI’s purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. Junior Leagues reach out to women of all races, religions and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitment to voluntarism.

The Association provides continuity and support, guidance and leadership development opportunities to 294 Junior Leagues in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. AJLI is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. All of our programs and activities are supported by League membership dues, foundation and corporate grants and other revenue-producing efforts.
